  • キャメルと共に70年代英国叙情派プログレッシヴロックシーンを牽引したバークレイ・ジェームズ・ハーヴェスト 1975年に英Polydorから発表された通算9作目、フォークロック〜ポップ色と従来のシンフォニックなアンサンブルとが融合された佳作『Time Honoured Ghosts』が、新たに発見されたオリジナルマスターテープからの最新リマスターおよび、DVD付きの拡大盤で登場。

    「The Long And Winding Road」のフレーズや、ポールやジョンの歌い回しをパロディ的に導入しながら、ビートルズの曲名をつないで仕上げられた「Titles」、キング・クリムゾンへのアンサーソングとも言える「Moongirl」など、持ち前の叙情性を存分に発揮した本作。

    CDには、アルバム本編に加えて、前作『Everyone Is Everybody Else』収録「Child of the Universe」の未発表となっていた75年のリメイクヴァージョンをボーナストラックで収録。

    DVDには、アルバム本編オリジナルステレオミックスの 2ch 24Bit/96kHz ハイレゾステレオ、5.1chサラウンドミックス音源、さらには、「Jonathan」「Titles」「Moongirl」「One Night」「Beyond the Grave」のプロモーション映像を収録。

  • 関西を拠点に活動するビッグバンド“アロージャズオーケストラ”と2015年3月20日に行われた
    ビルボード大阪でのライブがきっかけとなり交流がスタート。
    その後毎年ビルボード大阪にて行われ今年は3月23日&24日の2DAYS 実施される。
    今年結成から60年を迎えるアロージャズ。何か一緒にできないかと考案し今回のこの作品を制作するに至った。
    今までビッグバンドとコラボしてきた角松曲を日本のトップミュージシャンと収録！

    Trouveres et Troubadours - Aux origines de la chanson

    A dive into the heart of the Middle Ages, into the world of trouveres and troubadours, a return to the origins of song.
    The Obsidienne ensemble takes us to the origins of the song by immersing us in the world of trouveres and troubadours. Everyone knows the troubadours, these poet-musicians, sometimes performers, who at the end of the 11th century in the Pays d'oc (southern France) invented the Song; north of the Loire, in Pays d’oil, they are called trouveres. With this album, Emmanuel Bonnardot and his accomplices show us that the power of the song of trouveres and troubadours retains all its vitality today, a bit like the blues remains the leaven of jazz. They are therefore fully invested in making us discover these songs and bringing them to life. Accompanied by instruments whose names carry magic (citole, rebec, psalterion, tympanon, crwth, veze...) Obsidienne performs these melodies of real beauty evocative of our collective roots in inventive arrangements which allow access the flavors and colors of a re-enchanted Middle Ages.
